Knowing and using the 10 design elements (Line, Shape, Form, Color, Light, Pattern, Texture, Space, Motion, and Time) can really make a difference in photography. They can help lead the eye into an image and create a visual “pop”. Keeping these 10 elements in your mind’s eye will improve any photo.
Join Penni on a “Scavenger Hunt” on June 12th at Dana Point Harbor where she will hand out a list of the 10 Design Elements as well as a map of the harbor area pointing out several spots where participants can put their skills to work identifying these elements to compose compelling photos.
Then join her again on Thursday June 26 from 10:00 to 12:00 at the Camera Lab for a critique of the images that you took at Dana Point Harbor
Meet at the PAC/Clubhouse 3 at 9:30am on Thursday June 12th to carpool together to Dana Point Harbor.
