Slideshow Competition 2025

Twelve (12) Club members submitted fifteen (15) compelling shows using their own photographs, and video limited to 20% of the total slideshow.

The entire program lasted 1 hour and 15 minutes.

The shows were presented anonymously to the member audience, who then voted their favorites for first, second, and third place. Finishers were recognized, and all the maker’s names were announced after the voting.

Attendance to the competition was open to ALL residents of Laguna Woods Village, and their guests. There was a good turnout of more than sixty (63) in attendance

Camera Club members attended for free, non-members paid a $5 donation at the door.

Order of Display & Voting Results

Order the slideshows were played, the title, the maker’s name, the app used, and the top three voted shows. Online access to the slideshows will be provided by Sunday August 24th.

Submission Rules

Participants followed these 2025 rules carefully.

The submission deadline this year was Wednesday August 13th, 4PM

Submit Your Slide Show

Each member was allowed one slideshow until the total show length of time is reached. Since time was still available after all submissions , a 2nd show was allowed for members who submitted more than one slideshow.

Slideshows were submited in one of three ways.

  1. By email to Showcases@cameraclublwv.org
  2. Drop off a thumbdrive at the Photo Lab, CH 4, in a sealed envelope
  3. Mail a thumbdrive by USPS to the Club, in a sealed envelope must arrive by deadline

 
For thumbdrive submissions:

  • Your name must be on the exterior of the envelope
  • The file name of the thumbdrive must be your name
  • The file name of each MP4 must be the title of the show
