Current Club members are eligible to submit. Members create compelling shows using their own photographs, and a limited amount of video (see rules).
The entire program lasts from 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes, consisting of approximately 13-17 slide shows.
Accepted shows are presented anonymously to the member audience. Audience members then vote their favorites for first, second, and third place. Finishers are recognized, and awarded. All the maker’s names are announced after the voting.
Attendance to the competition is open to ALL residents of Laguna Woods Village, and their guests. All audience members are allowed to vote. Competitions are held in Clubhouse 7.
Camera Club members attend for free, non-members pay a $5 donation at the door.

Submit Your Slide Show
You may submit your slide shows in four ways.
- By email
- On line form – see below
- Drop off a thumbdrive at the Photo Lab, CH 4, in a sealed envelope
- Mail a thumbdrive by USPS to the Club, in a sealed envelope
For thumbdrive submissions:
- Your name must be on the exterior of the envelope
- The file name of the thumbdrive must be your name
- The file name of each MP4 must be the title of the show
