While exploring the city\, Jack witnessed the immediate aftermath of the revolt\, meet a leader of the uprising\, and spent time with everyday citizens.  \nJonathan Williams traveled to Romania just before Covid-19\, and was able to experience a revitalized Romania. See Jack’s historic images of Romania’s claim for freedom\, and then enjoy Jonathan’s photographs of that country’s colorful sites\, and intriquing folk traditions. Both presenters have stories to tell – don’t miss this unusual event.

DESCRIPTION:Critique\, Zoom\, 6:30PM \nSmart phone/cell phone images only \nSpecial Subject “Yellow”\nAs one of the oldest pigments used by humans\, the spectrum of attributes associated with yellow are wide ranging. Yellow is associated with the sun\, warmth\, energy\, and radiance. As a result\, yellow has inherited connotations of power\, knowledge\, imperishability\, and status. Frida Kahlo called yellow the color of the sun and joy\, but also “of madness\, sickness\, and fear”. It is the color of warning. Your image must include the color yellow. Yellow does not need to be the dominant color in the image\, but it must impact the finished photograph\, either aesthetically\, or symbolically\, or both.

DESCRIPTION:Submission deadline for images for the March 25th Critique\, with special subject “Yellow” \nNOTE:  Smart phone/cell phone images only \nSee email flyer for more details and submission rules. \n“Yellow”\nAs one of the oldest pigments used by humans\, the spectrum of attributes associated with yellow are wide ranging. Yellow is associated with the sun\, warmth\, energy\, and radiance. As a result\, yellow has inherited connotations of power\, knowledge\, imperishability\, and status. Frida Kahlo called yellow the color of the sun and joy\, but also “of madness\, sickness\, and fear”. It is the color of warning. Your image must include the color yellow. Yellow does not need to be the dominant color in the image\, but it must impact the finished photograph\, either aesthetically\, or symbolically\, or both.
